From August 2006 Shi events has been fully handling ESPN Classic Television in respect to marketing and PR

  • Preparing and updating marketing and PR strategies;
  • Carrying out loyalty events with partners, i.e. cable networks, digital platforms;
  • Creating and Carrying out media PR activities;
  • Preparing for trade conferences, preparing accompanying events;
  • Preparing and creating branding materials.

PIKE Cable Conference; May 2006, Jachranka

  • ESPN Classic – "welcome bags" sponsor, the bags contained branded notebooks as well as information about the channel;
  • ESPN Classic – welcome evening sponsor, combined with golf training as well as performance by the band Superpudel;
  • Exposition materials, i.e.: stand, banners, roll–ups etc.

PIKE Cable Conference; October 2006, Zakopane

  • Special exposition stand, hostesses in sports attire, promoting ESPN Classic's 18 hour Polish line–up;
  • All guests (600 people) were invited to participate in sports contest, the main prize was Salomon Snowboarding clothing;
  • All conference guests also received ESPN Classic gadgets: winter hats, t-shirts, leashes and in their rooms they received specially packed towel – "ESPN Classic always with You".

  • Installing boxing ring imitation stand;
  • Hiring professional boxers to promote ESPN Classic;
  • Preparing gadgets for bags as well as for the ESPN stand;
  • Preparing a "hardest punch" contest measured by a boxing machine;

Introducing theme block targeted at children on ESPN Classic; November 2006 – February 2007

  • For the first time in Europe ESPN Classic in cooperation with the Disney Channel created a special programming block targeted at young viewers;
  • The new Xsport block presented mainly action sports;
  • It was divided into two threads "Crazy with Disney" and "ESPN Classic MaX", it provided loads of information about the XGames, features on athletes such as: Tony Hawk, Andy McDonald and Matt Hoffman.

Snowboarding trip for cable operators as well as sports journalists organized by ESPN Classic and the Disney Channel; February 2007, Saalbah

25 people (cable operators and sports journalists) were invited for a skiing weekend in Austria. Additionally there were several accompanying events for the guests as well as theme meetings. The trip resulted in numerous publications in trade and sport press.
